Little Feet
Just a random post on my friend’s new puppy, Twinkie. Literally smaller than a water bottle. Pretty.Crazy. I would really love to shoot more portraits, but for the meantime here are some dogs.

Good Eats
So just for the sake of posting, I’ve compiled a few images that I’ve taken….mostly of when I go out to eat with friends. I’ve always wanted to do a food type of post, so I guess this is the start to them. I’m always drawn to shoot the people that are infront of me and also the goodness that is called food that lays infront of me. idk. I’m just weird like that. here are some images.

Back to Basics
Lately, I’ve developed an attraction to the look of film. I think everything about it is wonderful. Every shot you take requires thought and care. You’re not shooting to look at how it turns out on the other side of the camera. I picked up my old Nikon F-401s, the first camera I had in my possession. Now I’ve shot film during my high school years, but it wasn’t anything serious. I was more interested on how clear the pictures developed and what not. I’m hoping to just go around with this and learn more about composition and exposure. I think shooting film is one of the best ways to learn how to shoot wisely, and I think its one thing that every “photographer” needs to learn. It’s not just about what kind of gear you’re working with, its what you can do with it. Now with that said, time to shoot some film! (and yes, i am aware that these polaroids aren’t film. i just thought they’d add something to the picture. hah. :])
J.WOK
I had the opportunity to take pictures for J.WOK in the East Village of downtown San Diego. I’ve probably only eaten here twice, and I always ask myself why I dont come here more often. My brother works here and the food is rad! plus i love their location (East Village is probably my favorite area around downtown). . Make sure you check them out, they have a booth set up every thursdays at the SDSU farmers market. Enjoy :)

New Beginnings
So i know i already posted this set on my old blog, but i might as well include it here since it suits where i want to take my photography. This new blog is basically a restart to the way i want to see things, a new chapter to this art that i love to do. I look back on some of the past things I’ve done, and it kinda makes me puke a little bit, hah. I know that years from now ill look back on these pictures and think to my self “what the hell was i thinking” but i know that’s normal for anything, especially when you’re constantly growing. So here’s to a new start!

Stroll’n through the prairie
So my other photo site really needs a make over…so to solve that i made this new one to keep me from having to go through the hassle of rearranging everything. This was a fun little shoot i did with my friends Regie and Janelle, with Arjay assisting me. I love the evenings and the magic it brings to pictures. :)

Beach in the winter.
Here’s a few pictures at the shores. San Diego has its pro’s when it comes to the weather, and this is one of them. Mid 70’s in the middle of January, pretty crazy if i say so myself.
